July 11 UPDATE
This is the new pier paul has helped work on all winter. Almost done. He also did the gas pier. 100% nicer. Wish you all were here to see pauls dedication to the future of the marina. The employees are also very involved. Its a blessing.
LAUNCH PAD AND GAS/PUMP OUT PIER:
Finished!! both these are re decked and have floatation thru out.
MOBILE HOME ENTRY
Is now strickly the entry off Rabbit Branch Rd. The other entry off lakeside is permenantly closed off.
NO THRU TRAFFIC AREA
The area from gas pump back towards dry storage entry, is no longer an access for thru traffic. This area is strickly for marina
April 6, 2011 Update
Whatever is not done this month will be postponed into next winters projects. However, if time permits we will attempt to get it done during the summer.
Again, all projects on our to do list will be done as time and weather permits, usually during the fall/winter season. Dates are not guaranteed and may change or be postponed.
HOUSEBOAT PIER: The utility towers are up and the main walkway is complete. We are now working on the fingers. Our goal to be done in March was not met due mainly to weather, since lots of welding was needed. We will continue to work as weather permits thru out April in hopes to be completed. phone and cable is still being determined if it'll be reinstalled. All Dish Satellites may need to be attached to boat and no longer on pole or deck. This will be let known to you soon, should this take affect. The houseboat slip rent will increase to $175.00 starting June 1, 2011 and a new contract is being completed to have ready by May if not sooner.
GAS DOCK: Gas dock has also been welded and redecked. New computers have been installed in the current pumps, so we no longer have to double or trible the amount pumped. What the pump shows is now the correct price.
LAUNCH PAD: due to time, this project will be postponed for next winters projects. However if time permits, we may squeeze it in during summer.
ASPHALT: This is not yet scheduled to due houseboat pier work still being done.Upon completion of such a date will be scheduled and emailed to you. Be aware the marina will be closed for up to 2 days to allow completion and drying in minimal days. We will attempt to arrange for a monday and tuesday where there is usually low to no visits, but can not guarantee. Please do not plan to visit marina during these days, there wont be any access to enter the marina.
MOBILE HOME ENTRY/SIGNS: I do not have an update on the driveway, but attempts are to get cement or ashpalt layed down by May. but due to time, this may fall into a later time or next winter. The signs for the new mobile home entry off Rabbit Branch Rd are being made and soon to be ordered. such as: River's Edge Marina, Private Drive, No Outlet. Added sinced emailed: The current entry by the lake to Mobile home lots 1-22 and 37-48 will eventually be closed off to prevent traffic infront of the gas/office and dry storage area. All of these lots should be using the street entrance.
WET SLIPS SIGNS: reserved and available signs with the slip # will be located on each slip to prevent transient parking and correct slip parking upon return.
March 1, 2011 Update: Houseboat Pier Progress
Well, the weather hasn't allowed us to get as much done as we'd planned on the houseboat pier, but the workers are there almost everyday and moving along whenever possible. Keep in mind we are not just running new boards, there are lines, supports and many other items that need to be done before moving foward every few feet.
Note about Utilities: Only water and power will remain on and available thrroughout the construction. At this time, we recommend you cancel service if you are currently using cable or phone. It will be a while before new cable lines or phone lines are ran. However, since it seems only one or two are using cable or phone, we ourselves may not be re-running the lines. It may be up to the cable and phone company. All Dish satellite will be place on the finger poles only.

Houseboat pier construction has started. All items on pier will be removed as we come upon that area and can be picked up at the office/store.
